Utah salt flats first looks

Josie + Shane’s first look one year AFTER marriage.

That’s right. One year AFTER their unplanned intimate wedding (thanks, Covid) they finally got to have their first look. After cancelling their full wedding in March 2020, they decided to have an intimate back yard wedding with their close friends and family. They didn’t wear what they had originally planned and they picked up flowers at their local grocery store.

After saying “screw it,” they couldn’t have been happier with they way they proceeded with just keeping it intimate. The only dilemma was when were they every finally going to wear their original garb and finally celebrate MARRIAGE?

They looked over my travel dates and decided Utah was it. They booked a flight and said “see ya there!” You already know that sponteneity sets me on fire in the best way possible.

SUNSET FIRST LOOK IN THE BONNEVILLE SALT FLATS:

How to elope in the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, USA:

  1. Pick a date or timeframe

  2. Find a photographer (hi, it’s me. the plug.) / videographer

  3. Get that marriage license

  4. Find an officiant (Utah is a state that requires this)

  5. Fly your ass into Utah

  6. Explore for a spot (This is drive accessible, so no hiking is even required.)

  7. DO THE THING.
